OxiMarine Directions

OxiMarine is a multi-purpose, all-surface, environmentally safe, oxygen-based cleaner. When used as directed, OxiMarine will not harm fish or other marine life.
Usage Guidelines: Test a small, inconspicuous area before use to ensure desired results. Caution should be taken if used on wood as bleaching and/or stripping of oils/coatings can result.  
For General Cleaning: Vinyl Seating, Cushions, Carpet, Canvas, Heads, Galleys, Hulls, Decks, Swim Platforms, Bumpers, Docks, Bait Boxes, Tackle Boxes, Fish Blood, Ice Chests, Coolers, Storage Areas, Trash Cans, Etc.:  

  1. Use 1 capful of OxiMarine per gallon of clean water. Thoroughly mix crystals until dissolved. For best results, use solution within 1 hour of mixing.
  2. Lightly dampen surface with clean water prior to cleaning.  Apply OxiMarine solution with a sponge, rag or brush.  For larger areas, apply OxiMarine solution with a mop or pump-style garden sprayer.  Allow solution to stand on the surface for 5 minutes.  For tougher cleaning let stand longer on the surface.  Do not allow surface to dry keep wet with additional OxiMarine solution as needed.
  3. Scrub surface as needed.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

PRECAUTION:
While generally safe, OxiMarine should be KEPT OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. Proper precautions should be taken when working with ANY chemical. Wear appropriate eye and skin protection.  DO NOT MIX WITH ANY OTHER CHEMICALS OR CLEANERS as hazardous fumes may result.  To avoid excessive pressure build up do not store prepared solution in an airtight container. 


CAUTION:
Causes eye irritation.  IF IN EYES: Rinse immediately with cool, running water.  Remove any contact lens and continue flushing with water for at least 15 minutes.  Call a physician or poison control center promptly for treatment advice.  IF SWALLOWED DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.  Rinse mouth thoroughly with cool, running water, drink one to two glasses of water and call a physician or poison control immediately. IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.  Continually flush for 15 minutes.  If irritation persists, call a physician.
Always keep cap on tight and product dry.

For Soaking Applications:
Life Vests, Swim Wear, Deck Shoes, Wet Suits, Ropes, Fishing Gear, Etc.:

  1. Use 1-1 1/2 capfuls per gallon of clean water. Thoroughly mix crystals until dissolved. For best results, use solution within 1 hour of mixing.
  2. Add item and allow to soak for 20-30 minutes. Remove from solution and inspect item. Lightly scrub and/or continue soaking as needed.
  3. Remove item and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Metals can be dipped into OxiMarine solution but should not be soaked. After treating, rinse metals immediately and thoroughly with clean water.
For Spot & Stain Removal: Treat stains while fresh.

  1. Use 1 capful of OxiMarine per gallon of clean water. Thoroughly mix crystals until dissolved.
  2. Wipe off excess residue. Blot stain with clean cloth.
  3. Lightly dampen surface with clean water.  Apply solution to stain.  
  4. Allow solution to stand on the surface for 5 minutes. Blot or scrub surface as needed.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Some stains will require repeated, longer or stronger treatments. Caution: adding more OxiMarine powder than directed increases the risk of color fading. 
When finished, thoroughly rinse all equipment with clean water.  Unused OxiMarine solution can be poured down drain or follow local ordinances.  When used as directed OxiMarine is septic system safe.
