The O2 System


OxiShield Directions

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
As Step 2 in The O2 System™, OxiShield™ Algae & Mold Barrier, provides continuous protection from algae, mold, and mildew on: Roofs, Concrete,Decks, Docks, Fencing, Brick, and Pavers,Use OxiShield after cleaning with OxiOut™ Algae & Mold Remover, Step 1, in The O2 System.

MIXING DIRECTIONS:
DO NOT USE ON CEDAR OR REDWOOD.
OxiShield™ Algae & Mold Barrier will not harm plants when applied according to the directions. 
When working with any chemical, wear appropriate eye and skin protection. 

SHAKE WELL PRIOR TO AND DURING USE

  1. Begin with a clean, dry surface.  Mix product thoroughly for at least one minute.  Solution should be slightly cloudy when mixed properly. 
  2. Do not thin mixture.
  3. Solution should be shaken/aggitated every 30 minutes.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Do not use or store where air or surface temperature could exceed 120°F or below 40°F.  Keep from freezing.

PRECAUTION:
Always use proper eye and skin protection when using.  Keep out of reach of children and pets.
CAUTION: Causes eye irritation.  IF IN EYES: Rinse immediately with cool, running water.  Remove any contact lenses and continue flushing with water for at least 15 minutes.  Call a physician or poison control center promptly for treatment advice.
IF SWALLOWED DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING: Rinse mouth thoroughly with cool running water, drink one to two glasses of water and call a physician or poison control immediately.
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.  Continually flush for 15 minutes.  If irritation persists, call a physician.

2 YEAR WARRANTY: The following is made in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied: Seller’s and manufacturer’s only obligation shall be to replace such quantities of the product proved to be defective.  Neither the seller or manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or the inability to use the product.  Before using, user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and user assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.  The foregoing may not be altered except by agreement signed by the officers of seller and manufacturer.  Must present proof of purchase.

 

APPLICATION:

  1. Use a garden type pump sprayer to apply product. (You can use a brush or roller but  garden sprayer  works best)
  2. Spray on OxiShield™ Algae & Mold Barrier making sure to cover the entire area you are working on.  Less is more. Do not allow pooling.  If you apply too much in one spot and it does not penetrate, remove excess with either a roller or towel. To avoid color variations do not spot spray. 
  3. When you are finished and the surface has dried, you should not see any visibly shiny areas.
  4. One gallon covers approximately 350 square feet depending on surface condition and porosity.
  5. Keep treated surface free from foot traffic or rain for two to four hours until the surface has properly cured.  Proper curing has taken place when you no longer can see any damp areas.
